Serve Central

Each of us has special and unique gifts given by God and these gifts can be used to serve in so many ways.

Serve Central

The goal at Serve Central is to connect people to serve opportunities inside and outside the four walls of the church.  We do this by helping people become aware of spiritual gifts, passions, talents and experiences and how to practically utilize those to serve God within our community. Our passion is to get individuals connected with the best fit of serve opportunities rather than just volunteer "positions."

To learn more, please visit the Serve Central booth in the lobby.

Kids

We truly believe that to positively change and impact a community, you start with the children. Evergreen Kids ministry exists to help kids find their way to Jesus, figure out what it means to live for Him, and then “GO” out to impact their community, and even the world. We have amazing opportunities for anyone willing to partner with us in volunteering to help teach, equip, resource, and love on ALL children and families that come through our doors. Whether you’re a student, parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or friend, we believe YOU can play a major role in helping change and enrich the lives of so many children. We welcome the opportunity to equip you to partner with us.

Youth

The Youth Ministry Team is a community where volunteers become family. Our goal is to work together with parents and one another in order to improve our world through more and better  Middle School and High School followers of Jesus in Lewis County. Our volunteer team consists of a wide variety of people whose skills and personalities work together to accomplish this goal. There are countless ways to get involved and range from upfront speaking to behind-the-scenes preparation,  greeting students at the front door or simply opening your home.

Students are most susceptible to influence while in 6th-12 grade. It's our hope that the leaders and students who call Evergreen Youth home would be positive influences on students in Lewis County.

If you would like more information about serving in our Youth Ministry, please contact Taylor Smith at taylor@evergreenpnw.com

First Impressions Team

The role of our First Impressions Team is to provide a warm, helpful and welcoming experience to everyone that attends our gatherings. First Impressions is about communicating personal value to the people who walk through our doors as we would a guest into our home. It is a way to express to people that they matter to us and to Jesus. At ECC, our First Impressions Team prayerfully and purposefully creates an environment that helps people feel at home and comfortable. Research reveals that people visiting our church will make up their minds within the first seven minutes on campus if this is the kind of church they would like to attend. If you have have a passion to serve and a welcoming smile, we would love to have you involved in this vital role. Areas of opportunity:

  • Parking Lot Team
  • Greeters
  • NEXT Volunteer (Helping Newcomers to Find Their Next Step)
  • Serve Central (Connecting People In Ways to Serve Inside and Outside the Church)

Tech Arts

The Technical Arts Ministry assists with creating an environment that encourages people to engage during gatherings and events. In order for these gatherings and events to run without distractions, it takes several people serving in the Tech Arts Ministry working as a team to operate the technical aspect of the gathering or event.

The tech involves audio, video, lighting, and staging. People serving in the Tech Arts Ministry are asked to serve a minimum of one time a month. No experience necessary. Training is available for all areas.

To get involved in our Tech Arts ministry, email Livi at livi@ecconline.cc
