ECC/ECS Staff
Frequently Asked Questions


How does ECC/ECS staff request audio/visual/lighting support for an ECC/ECS event? 
A tech request form must be completed no later than 2 weeks prior to an ECC/ECS event. Technical Arts staff will be in contact to determine how to provide audio/visual/lighting support.

Can an ECC/ECS staff person operate the tech equipment for an event?
Tech Arts staff can train and approve of an ECC/ECS staff person to operate tech equipment for a small event.  A trained and approved ECC/ECS staff person cannot train and approve of another person to operate the equipment without the knowledge and approval of Tech Arts staff. A technical request form still must be completed to document the use of the equipment.

How will media be displayed and when should media be submitted?
Videos, pictures, and text can be displayed in all available venues. The media will either be displayed from a projector or on a TV depending on the venue. Some projectors and TV's in ECC venues are capable of HD resolutions. Presentation slides/videos should be submitted in a widescreen format for best quality. Video should be submitted in .mov files for best compatibility. Video and media presentations need to be submitted no later than 4 days prior to the event for compatibility testing on ECC equipment. Media can be emailed to techarts@ecconline.cc

Can personal audio/visual/lighting equipment be used in ECC venues?
Yes. Please contact ECC Technical Staff no later than 2 weeks prior to the event about the use of the personal equipment and compatibility with ECC technical equipment.

Are stage set pieces/designs removable or portable?
In ECC venues, there may be stage set pieces used for worship gatherings that are not portable and cannot be removed from the stage for the requested event. Please inquire about stage set pieces by communicating with Technical Staff before finalizing a request for the use of an ECC venue.

Can there be additional meetings with Technical Staff to communicate details of the event?
Yes. The more details that are known, the easier it will be to provide A/V/L support for the event.

Non-ECC/ECS Event

How does a requester of a non-Evergreen Christian Community/Evergreen Christian School event communicate technical needs?
An facility coordinator/host will communicate with ECC Technical Arts staff no later than 2 weeks prior to the requested date of the event except for memorial services. Technical Arts staff may need to contact the requester directly to determine details of technical needs. The Tech Arts staff will determine if the technical needs are reasonable no later than 2 weeks prior to the date of the event being requested with the exception of memorial services. Facility use cannot be approved without confirming technical support can be met by Technical Arts staff.

Will Evergreen Christian Community provide audio/visual/lighting techs for a non-ECC/ECS event?
Yes, ECC provides the audio/visual/lighting techs for all events in ECC venues. Sufficient A/V/L support will be determined by ECC Technical Arts staff.

Can non-ECC techs use ECC tech equipment?
Techs not associated with ECC/ECS can assist with the event with approval of the ECC Technical Director. This approval must happen no later than 2 weeks prior to the event.
