Throughout the year, City Gates delivers food to people who do not have the means to get to the food bank. City Gates will supply food and provision needed for each delivery. The objective is to deliver the provision and pray for those receiving.
Lunch Bag Ministry:
We have developed a new ministry called the Lunch Bag Ministry. 40 lunches are prepared and delivered daily to the less fortunate in our community.
Furniture Ministry:
Furniture Ministry runs on Saturdays. The truck is routed to different locations to pick up donated furniture and then delivered to individuals transitioning into housing. This ministry also moves people into housing, elderly downsizing, evictions etc.

In an effort to partner with our city and surrounding communities during this COVID-19 crisis, Evergreen Christian Community has ceased daily operation of our Food Pantry in favor of sharing our donations and our service with Thurston County Food Bank. In this manner we will most directly meet the immediate needs of the most affected.
We encourage you, if you have food to donate or hours of service you could offer, call Allison Zusi at 360-754-5703 x105 or email gleaning@thurstoncountyfoodbank.org.
